CONGRATS MR. & MRS. KERRY DERA

Marriage is a social union or legal contract between people that creates kinship. It is an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged in a variety of ways, depending on the culture or subculture in which it is found. Such a union, often formalized via a wedding ceremony. Marriage is a beautiful thing in which two people join as one. I’ve known both Kerry & Chrislande for a very long time & i couldn’t be any happier for them. The wedding was great, it was like a family reunion lol everybody was out there, great food, service, music, reception, the whole nine. I pray God continues to bless them in everything they do. 

The winds that sometimes take something we love, are the same that bring us something we learn to love. Therefore we should not cry about something that was taken from us, but, yes, love what we have been given, Because what is really ours is never gone forever.

Nike Foamposite, For a Life….

Today, July 1, is the official release date for Nike Electric Blue Foamposite’s.  As we all know, these $200 shoes are ALL the craze and shoe fans around the Country lined up last night outside of their local shoe outlets to be the first to get these… or the last… just before they sell out!

Beginning around 11pm last night, photo’s were tweeted of the line’s outside PG Plaza and Iverson Mall. You would assume authorities would be involved during the release of such an expensive shoe, but apparently that’s not the case. We have heard of 3 Stabbings and 2 Deaths at PG Plaza Mall and 12 people in line at Iverson were robbed.

Unfortunately, the news of the victims was not as surprising as it should have been to local residence. Twitter reactions were rather apathetic. Many people made comments like “Only 12 people” or “why am I not surprised”.

Since when is a life worth a pair of $200 sneakers? Who is at fault? Why are material things SO important to our generation?

$5000 for a funeral because someone was killed over a $200 sneakers that were produced with for $10.

Sunday’s….Is the day of the Sabbath and in many its the Lords day. For many Christians it is the day that we set apart for worship of God, due to our belief in Christ resurrection on a Sunday, according to the Gospel….But isn’t it crazy how most of us only focus on God on “Sundays” I mean think about it…How many times through out the week do we actually open our bibles and read it? How many times through out the week do we spend alone time with our savior? How many times do we even think of of his name? All i’m saying is Sunday is a great day, one of my favorite days of the week actually, for me my Sundays consist of food, church, family, friends, rest, football, etc. But it should not be the only day we mostly focus on Christ Jesus who died on the cross for our sins..Every morning we wake up and take that fresh breath of air, we should humble ourselves and be thankful for his incredible grace and mercy he has upon us. Throughout the day we should consistently remind ourselves that we’re not worthy and everything we are able to do is bc of him….God is Love, Have a blessed Sunday fam.
